AI Safety Connect’s inaugural event was hosted at the 2025 Paris AI Action Summit and featured notable leading experts, including Stuart Russell, Yoshua Bengio, and Dawn Song, alongside industry representatives from Anthropic, Frontier Model Forum, and ex-OpenAI employees, investors, as well as representatives for AI Safety/Security Institutes and their equivalents. AISC Paris featured 300 senior-level policymakers, frontier AI experts, and industry leaders from over 30 countries.
Event Highlights:
Release of the Global Risk and AI Safety Preparedness (GRASP) project global mapping of general-purpose AI safety tools and solutions, conducted in partnership with Project SAFE of the Global Partnership on AI (GPAI) and its Tokyo Centre of Expertise

AI Safety Connect returns to the global stage during the 2025 United Nations General Assembly, co-hosted by UNDP and the governments of Singapore, Canada, and Brazil. AISC UNGA will bring together distinguished multisectoral participants to advance international coordination on AI safety governance through the lens of sustainable development.
Format: 90-minute seminar with two high-level panels and a fireside chat, followed by a networking reception.
Focus: Advancing concrete pathways for international cooperation on AI safety and governance
Participants: Senior government officials, UN agency representatives, frontier lab leaders, AI safety experts, and civil society organizations.

Following our successful engagement at the Paris AI Action Summit, AISC India will build on connections established with summit leadership to convene stakeholders during India's upcoming AI Impact Summit.
