Johan Falk is a Policy and Communications Fellow at AI Safety Connect (AISC) through the Talos Network. At AISC, he follows emerging AI policy developments and connects them to the organization’s work, helping to sharpen its content, blog and strategic communications. Before the fellowship, he analyzed and advised on AI's societal impact, with a focus on global AI risks. He previously served as Director of Education at the Swedish National Agency for Education (Skolverket), where he led the agency's AI and education team, and has worked as a science journalist, physics teacher and technology editor at Sweden's leading popular science magazine. He has written eight books on AI, in Swedish, and holds master's degrees in physics and journalism from Uppsala University. He lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
